That’s A Wrap!
The Smokies Hikes for Healing initiative has successfully completed the application process for its program, designed to bring small groups of strangers together for important conversations about racism within the refuge of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Participants hiked together, shared with one another, reflected on their own experiences, and left with tools from professional facilitators to better combat racism in all aspects of their lives and within their local communities.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support and for making this such a special and meaningful series. It is our hope that our hikers continue to partake in healing conversations, both together and within their larger social circles.
